Days 28th Feb/1st March
We have finally reached our accommodation where we stayed last year and will be staying for the rest of our time here. It is as pleasant and quiet as last year and I am sure we are going to enjoy our time here.
Yesterday we played our first round of golf in the sun. We took out the monthly membership for Manatee and Buffalo Creek clubs which allows us to play either course after 2pm. We only payed 9 holes because we thought it wiser to break Ben's knee in gently. He played the 9 holes well without any pain and managed some good shots, beating me easily.
Today we had to kill time as we had to leave last night's accommodation by 11am and couldn't move in here until 4pm. As it turned out we arrived here at about 3pm and the cleaner must have just left as the floors were still wet. Earlier, we had our first ice cream and then went to the beach which was quite busy. The american spring break starts at the beginning of March so we are expecting more people as the month progresses. I walked along the shore line for about a mile while Ben sat on a seat on the beach. It was a little cloudy but mainly warm and sunny. The forecast is for the temperatures to rise towards the end of the week.
